Air suspension lowering for Mercedes Benz W205 / S205 & X253 / C253 (Facelift)
This guide will walk you through the installation of the Active Suspension Control module in the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and GLC (facelift models).
1. Important Safety Information

Qualified personnel: Installation may only be carried out by trained qualified personnel.

De-energize: Before starting work, disconnect the battery from the vehicle electrical system (observe the vehicle manufacturer's specifications).

Compatibility: This module is only suitable for the specified vehicle types.

Legal: This is a component subject to registration according to the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). Please ensure prompt registration.

Calibration: We recommend considering recalibration of the driving assistance systems, depending on the chosen lowering.
2. Removing the Trim Panel
To access the control unit, follow these steps:

Preparation: Open the passenger door. The necessary connection points are located under the carpet.

Door sill trim: First, unclip the door sill trim and remove it.

Loosen seat: To remove the carpet, the seat must be tilted back. To do this, remove the screws; start with the two rear ones and then loosen the front ones.

Remove carpet: Carefully pry the carpet out of the trim panels and remove it completely.

Locate control unit: Locate the control unit directly under the carpet. Remove the plug (or the entire control unit) to better access the connection point.

Open housing: Remove the cover of the plug to gain access to the wires.
3. Electronic Connections (Pin Assignment)
The connection is made by depinning original wires and inserting the new wiring harness.

| Step 3 | Pin No. 5 | Yellow/White | Replace with Yellow/White (new wiring harness). Insert original wire into Pin 1 of an empty 2-pin housing. |
| Step 4 | Pin No. 6 | Yellow | Replace with Yellow (new wiring harness). Insert original wire into Pin 2 of the previously used 2-pin housing. |
| Step 5 | Pin No. 12 | Brown | Replace with Brown (new wiring harness). Insert original wire into Pin 1 of an empty 2-pin housing. |
| Step 6 | Pin No. 21 | Red/Yellow | Replace with Red (new wiring harness). Insert original wire into Pin 1 of an empty 2-pin housing. |
Important: After repinning, connect the used 2-pin housings to the corresponding counterparts of the new wiring harness.
4. Function Test & Completion

Snap in: Reinsert the pin row into the housing until it clicks into place, and connect the plug to the control unit.

Test run: Perform a function test before reassembling the trim panel in reverse order.

Note on de-installation: In case of disassembly, you must first set all values back to 0 mm in the app.
